About You vs The World

You vs The World is a daily question for people with opinions about things that absolutely do not matter, but somehow still feel personal. Every day, one delightfully divisive question goes live. You vote. The internet votes. You quietly judge the results.

There are no feeds to game, no trends to chase, and no arguments to win. Just a quick decision and a mildly humbling reminder that your take is either extremely popular or deeply questionable. You will, however, see takes that make you pause, nod, laugh, or question how someone lives their life.

You vote first. Results come after. That part is very intentional. This is meant to feel fun, low pressure, and just uncomfortable enough to make you think, “Wow. I really thought more people would agree with me.”

The world has plenty of serious problems. This site is not here to solve any of them.

FAQ

Why can I only vote today?

Each question belongs to a specific day. Once that day passes, voting closes. This is not a debate forum. It is a snapshot in time. Blink and it is gone.

Why can't I see future questions?

Because spoilers ruin everything. Questions go live at midnight Eastern Time. Patience builds character. Deal with it.

Can I change my vote?

No. Commitment matters. Also, watching people regret their choice later is half the fun.

Is this anonymous?

Completely. We do not know who you are, and we do not try to. You are a vote. Your take is just words. No profiles. No follow-ups. Your past votes are remembered only on your device so you can see how you voted before.

What happens to my take?

We keep it. We read it. We use it to make better questions. Some takes may show up anonymously later, sometimes out of context, always without attribution. That is as serious as this gets.

Are there ads?

This site is currently ad-free. If that ever changes, ads will stay out of the voting experience. The question and your vote always come first. We want this to feel like a game, not a pop-up with opinions attached.

Who made this?

Someone with strong opinions about extremely unimportant things and just enough free time to build a website about it.
